Details

Inclined screw conveyors are the same as most of augers but used at an incline between 0-45° from horizontal.

      Inclined screw conveyor perform as each degree of incline reduces the efficiency of the conveyor and how much material flows through it. Torque is required to pull the material through the conveyor, it must be more  closely designed for the conveyed products. Inclination angles between 10 – 20 degrees reduce the auger efficiency by 10 – 40 %.
